7 Cocktails for Your Fall Wedding

1. Apple Cranberry Moscow Mule
There’s nothing like a refreshing Moscow Mule. And now this classic drink gets an autumnal upgrade with apple and cranberry flavors.
Ingredients
- ice
- 4 oz. vodka
- ¼ cup cranberry juice
- ½ cup sparkling apple juice
- 2 cans ginger beer
- fresh cranberries for garnish
Instructions
Fill two glasses with ice. Add vodka and cranberry juice, then sparkling apple juice. Top off the rest with ginger beer. Stir gently and serve immediately.

2. Rosemary Grapefruit Margarita
Who doesn’t love a margarita? And this party-time drink is great for summer or fall.
Ingredients
- 2 oz. tequila
- 2 sprigs rosemary, plus 1 extra for optional garnish
- 1/2 oz. Agave in the Raw
- 1 1/4 oz. fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice
- 1/4 oz. fresh-squeezed lime juice
- 1/2 tsp. flaky sea salt or cocktail salt for rimming the glass (optional)
Instructions
Fill your rimmed glass with ice. Add the rosemary and agave nectar to an empty cocktail shaker (no ice) and muddle until the rosemary becomes fragrant. Add the tequila, grapefruit and lime juices, and ice to the shaker. Shake to combine and strain.

3. Hot Bourbon Cider
This hot cocktail is perfect for those cooler fall days. They’ll warm you to the bones and them some.
Ingredients
- 1 part Maker’s Mark bourbon (or other)
- 4 parts apple cider
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 5 whole cloves
- 3 whole allspice berries
- 6 whole peppercorns
- Lemon slices and additional cinnamon sticks for garnish
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan on the stove. Let sit on medium-low covered for 1 hour and then ladle into mugs. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and lemon slice.

4. Ginger Apple Cooler
We couldn’t help but add another ginger beer and apple recipe. They’re really the best flavors for a refreshing fall cocktail.
Ingredients
- 2 oz. Crown Royal Regal Apple
- 1 tsp. Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- Brooklyn Crafted Extra Spicy Ginger Beer (or other), to fill
- Garnish with Candied Ginger
Instructions
Combine whiskey, maple syrup, lemon juice and ice in a cocktail shaker. Serve topped with Brooklyn Crafted ginger beer and garnish with candied ginger.

5. Maple Bourbon Old-Fashioned
We’re not saying women can’t drink an old-fashioned, but it’s definitely a classic man’s drink. With a groom that loves bourbon, this an autumn spin on this old-fashioned old-fashioned.
Ingredients
- 2 tsp. maple syrup
- 1 tsp. water
- 1 dash bitters
- 1 orange peel
- 2 oz. bourbon
- 1 maraschino cherry, for garnish
Instructions
Combine maple syrup, water and bitters in a glass, stirring until well blended. Add ice and orange peel, then pour bourbon on top. Garnish with a cherry and serve.

6. Pumpkin White Russian
This fall cocktails list wouldn’t be complete without a pumpkin spiced something. So here’s a cocktail we love with a PSL spin.
Ingredients
- Heavy cream
- 4 oz. Pumpkin-flavored vodka
- 2 oz. Kahlúa
- Pumpkin pie spice
Instructions
Add vodka, Kahlúa, and sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice to a shaker and combine. Add a handful of ice to a glass and fill glass halfway with drink mixture. Finish by filling the rest of the glass with heavy cream. Stir and serve!

7. Spiced Red Wine Sangria
For those of you who don’t love hard liquor, here’s a yummy fall sangria recipe for everyone.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle spiced red wine
- ¾ cup brandy
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 cup diced apple slices
Instructions
Pour a bottle of spiced red wine into a large pitcher. Slowly pour in brandy and apple cider and stir. Finish with chopped apple slices. Let the sangria sit overnight before serving.
